PEARLAND COLOR GUARD
The Pearland High School Color Guard is the main visual aspect of the marching band. We travel and perform with the marching band at every football game, community performance, and contest. The PHS Color Guard plays many roles in the marching show:

We are DANCERS who learn fundamentals and choreography of ballet, jazz, and modern dance

We are ACTORS who portray the visual and emotional story of the marching band show

We are a COLOR GUARD who performs with a variety of equipment, including flags, sabers, and rifles
WINTER GUARD
The Pearland High School Winter Guards perform as their own groups during the winter and spring at contests around the area and the state. Winter guard is split into a Varsity and Junior Varsity team which is determined by audition. Shows are performed in gyms set to a piece of pre-recorded music using the same dance and equipment techniques learned in the Fall.
